Geomineral and Investment Consult Company (GICC) is a legally registered company in Ghana and Sierra Leone. We specialized in providing a wide range of services including Commodity Market Analysis, Project Evaluation, Technical Support and Strategic Planning for our clients which include mining companies, investors, government, and other stakeholders. We provide them with the right assistance, information, and data so that they can make informed decisions and maximize their return on investment.
The Africa mining industry is one of the most robust in the world because buried under the surface of the continent is a wealth of natural resources such as gold, iron ore, diamond, bauxite, among others. Stretching from DR Congo to Ghana, from South Africa to Sierra Leone, the continent is rich with bountiful reserves of these minerals. According to statisca.com, the exploration budget for Africa in 2019 alone was over $1.10 billion and this indicates the sector has no plans of collapsing any time soon.
Countries such as Ghana and South Africa has been one of the major producers of gold since the mineral was discovered pre-colonial era. Other countries such as Sierra Leone and Burkina Faso are regaining their mining sector after several years of conflict. In fact, as of 2021, there were 11 large scale and 13 small scale mining companies in Sierra Leone alone.
However, we can agree that the mining industry is quite complex especially in countries which are still developing policies and regulations for their sector. This situation has created so many barriers to entry to the frustration of both the regulators and investors.
The only solution to this frustration is to bridge the gap between the major stakeholders by facilitating the ease of operating a business in the mining sector. And this is why Geomineral and Investment Consult Company was established.
